Faculty Affinity Networks (FANs) are faculty-led spaces for connection, support, career-development and advancement around unique and similar identity-based experiences. FANs connect you with other faculty across Rutgers who share common interests or learning objectives, and allow you to learn, grow and support each other in the group.

We provide a forum for Black female-identifying faculty in Schools of Arts and Sciences to network, connect and share experiences and resources for our persistence, resilience and professional success at Rutgers University.
We are a support network and platform for non-tenure track teaching faculty across the Rutgers campuses to offer peer support, share strategies for thriving, identify common challenges, and collaborate on teaching (as well as non-teaching) projects and initiatives.
We aim to create an inclusive, and supportive community for Rutgers scholars from countries other than the US. Whether you're navigating the challenges of launching a career while adjusting to unfamiliar cultural norms or have built a career in US, this network is here to connect you with colleagues whose identity encompasses several national cultures or more than one language
