Faculty Affinity Networks (FANs) are faculty-led spaces for connection, support, career-development and advancement around unique and similar identity-based experiences. FANs connect you with other faculty across Rutgers who share common interests or learning objectives, and allow you to learn, grow and support each other in the group.
The following Faculty Affinity Networks are currently accepting members:

We provide a forum for Black female-identifying faculty in Schools of Arts and Sciences to network, connect and share experiences and resources for our persistence, resilience and professional success at Rutgers University.
- Disability, Accessibility & Inclusion NetworkCo-Leads: Rachel Derr, DNP and Latisha Hayes-Gaines, DNP

- Rutgers LGBTQIA+ FANCo-Leads: Caroline Harmon-Darrow, Ph.D., MSW and Troy A. Roepke, Ph.D.
We bring together LGBTQIA+ identifying faculty who desire to foster a sense of community at Rutgers and create a supportive and positive environment.
- Rutgers Non-Tenure (NTT) FacultyCo-Leads: Jenny Yang, Ph.D. and Travis DuBose, Ph.D.
We are a support network and platform for non-tenure track teaching faculty across the Rutgers campuses to offer peer support, share strategies for thriving, identify common challenges, and collaborate on teaching (as well as non-teaching) projects and initiatives.
- Rutgers Transnational Scholars FANCo-Leads: Ana Pairet-Vinas, Ph.D. and Selin Bengi Gumrukcu, Ph.D
